A year ago today, you helped raise awareness for a project that will change lives. Thanks to you, #TeamWater raised $40 million to bring clean water to 2 million people.
That was the easy part, honestly. The real work started after.
Every dollar went straight to WaterAid and our nonprofit partners, who spent this past year actually building stuff. This first year alone, we've already brought clean water to communities all over the world: a solar water farm in Tanzania, two new ones in Kenya, working taps and toilets in rural West Virginia, filtration systems in the Brazilian Amazon, and new pipelines and kiosks now serving schools and health centers in Rwanda.

This doesn't happen without creators like you deciding to care about something bigger than all of us. Children and families who once had to live with contaminated water, or no water nearby, can now drink clean water right in their own communities. You did that, and we’re so grateful.
So that’s Year 1. Next phase is more projects, more countries and more hard work so we can reach our goal of bringing clean water to 2 million people by 2030.
