Getting out into the local environment after dark offers a totally different perspective on nature. Using the Sofirn EDC lamp, I set out to track down the creatures that only come alive when the sun goes down. The beam provides the clarity needed to spot subtle movements in the brush.
The area is full of scolopendra, and finding them requires patience because they are masters of camouflage. This night insect observation session highlights how effective the right light is for spotting Philippines wildlife in their natural habitat.
